Training Tip of the Month

Going beyond the required online training, what resources does the BSA provide to promote Youth Protection?

The Boy Scouts of America and the Cradle of Liberty Council provide multiple online resources to educate employees, volunteers and scouts about a variety of Youth Protection and safety areas.  For example, the BSA provides a number of online pamphlets and other resources relating to bullying.  These include, among others:

  1. Bullying – What is Bullying?
  2. Creating a Bullying-Free Culture in Scouting
  3. What to Do if Your Child is Being Bullied

More generally, if you have any questions, concerns, or issues about Youth Protection generally or bullying specifically, do not hesitate to contact the counsel’s Youth Protection Champion, Geoffrey F. Sasso. Geoff can be reached at Cradle of Liberty’s dedicated Youth Protection email: youthprotection@colbsa.org

Trained Today is distributed on the second Wednesday of each month. If you received this directly from the Cradle of Liberty Council, you're subscribed to the Training Newsletter list.
